Blank screen of doom, to a pirated Vista near you

Microsoft is starting to detect if you’re using an illegal version of Vista, or an abused license key, or a stolen key. You will have 30 days to register, or your OS will be in “Reduced Functionality” mode.
What exactly is “reduced functionality”? It’s when you boot an illegal Windows Vista, you get a black screen, with the just one icon – Internet Explorer (see screenshot below). Then you have 1 hour to surf the Internet then it will be disabled.

I dont know what the big deal is with vista. XP is fine. Sticking to it.

I’ve tried Vista for a 13 days then I quit and exchanged it to an iMac.

i don’t like vista anyway. but yeah, i imagine somebody will crack this disabler soon.
