Amazon.com sporting cool new redesign, Amazon.ca still the same
Amazon.com is sporting a new clean, less-cluttered design. They also changed the navigation colors. However, it is now triggered by mouse hover and might confuse some people. New visitors or non-frequent customers will continue clicking unless the popup hover loads first.
Might not be a perfect timing to launch a redesign since holiday online shopping will boost this time of year. They could have launched this last summer or probably better – early next year. It takes some time to figure things out (well, for some people though).
Ok. Nice one on Amazon.com (clap, clap…). But could you please update Amazon.ca too? Not only that, Amazon.ca still doesn’t offer some other products that are on Amazon.com (like electronics, apparels, jewelry, blah).
And oh, one last thing, the prices are still higher than the US counterpart.
