Helperoo: Email support ticketing system for everyone

August 8th, 2007 No Comments »

One of the problems of having an online business (like web hosting) is the need of having to support valued clients. This particular job can be very daunting and emails coming from customers can be very hard to organize.

So, while looking for an online solution to address this - I found Helperoo. And I think it may just do the job.

Helperoo is like a strip-down version of Kayako (support suite). I have personally tried Kayako and its OK. However, it’s not free. Helperoo on the other hand offers a free version. And as expected, the paid version has more features.

Helperoo’s free version looks very simple, no added fuss. It simply works for me and it might even work for you too!

So, why don’t you check it out.

Broadcast your blog feed in Twitter

July 20th, 2007 2 Comments »

twitterfeed.com is a new service that lets you broadcast your blog feed(s) to your twitter account.

Jaiku, a Twitter competitor in this space offers this (mini-blog) service. Twitter on the other hand, doesn’t have this functionality.

It’s a cool use of Twitter.

Fuzzmail - a cool email that records and plays!

July 13th, 2007 1 Comment »

Fuzzmail is a cool email webapp that records the way you write and lets you send it as a recorded email. Changes to the email, pauses and writeovers are captured and communicated (everything gets recorded).

fuzzmail1.jpg

Your recipient receives an email with a link like http://www.fuzzmail.org/mail/118429930864.html and it plays the email exactly how the sender typed it in. Very cool! You can even play it slower or faster depending on how you like it.

A very unique approach to get away from those boring emails!

I’m not sure how long they will store this email… So, if it gets deleted - you can always create your own. So, try it out or see some ready-made examples.

May 22nd, 2007 3 Comments »

Both 24 and Heroes (two of my favorite tv shows) had their season finale last night. I both liked the ending and I’m looking forward to the next season.

While waiting for season 7 of 24, why don’t you try 24 day zero.

Here is the season 6 debriefing movie
