The whale is being lifted again to someplace. Twitter is down.

At the height of WWDC, Twitter is down (11:00AM Central). You know why? Look at the birds. They are moving from different directions. And you don’t have to be a genius to figure out that 8 birds can’t probably carry a 90-ton whale? Err…

So what do you do now? Either go to Plurk, send your sentiments at Twiddict or just go back to real work.

Do you love NES games? Have Firefox? Good!

June 8th, 2008 4 Comments »

FireNes is a new Firefox plugin you can use to play all those NES game goodies without downloading a NES emulator or those game packages. You simply download FireNes, restart your Firefox, open up FireNes over at Tools >> FireNes. That opens up over 100 NES games. Games you played when you were a kid (at least for me), now right on your Firefox sidebar.

Double-click a game you want and it opens up automatically without even downloading anything after!

To save you time on the controls, it’s the X & Z. You can view the controls by right-clicking any game on the sidebar.

By the way, FireNes runs on Java (if that means anything to you at all). Also, here’s the English translation if you can’t understand anything on the site.

Enjoy your favorite games and have a good weekend.

Mployd.com an honorable mention at the SEOmoz Web 2.0 Awards

2008 Web 2.0 Awards - Honorable Mention

Our site Mployd.com has been chosen as an honorable mention at the recent SEOmoz Web 2.0 Awards.

First off, I’d like to personally thank the guys over at SEOmoz (They. Are. The. Authority in SEO). I also like to thank the huge names in the industry — the judges. I appreciate it very much!

SEOmoz Web 2.0 Awards Judges

This really came in as a big surprise for us here at Mployd HQ. Why? Just take a look at the winners at the Employment and Jobs category, not only you’ll see popular names like Standoutjobs ($2M funding) and Careerbuilder, but also the 800-pound gorilla Monster.com. And having Mployd behind these 3 big guys couldn’t be much more sweeter.

Mployd Employer

Again, to SEOmoz and the judges, thank you very much for this!

Have a great weekend!

Indiana Jones 4 Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sucks… a waste of money

May 24th, 2008 No Comments »

After almost 2 decades since Indiana Jones graced the silver screen - the 4th installment really sucked. I couldn’t say anything more that this and this already said.

It’s completely and utterly waste of time. Should have watched “Baby Mama” instead and probably laughed and felt good.

If you are an Indiana Jones fan, it’s a must-watch (so you can complete the 4 movies). If you’re not, avoid it.

Sigh.
